Welcome in the land of:
"PADOCA"
Coucou oui cest moi. In 1982 I, for the first time, looked into the eyes of the midwife. So, just right now (A. D. 2002), I am just 20 and I feel, compared to Karli (known as 'Carlos' too), quite old for my age. Oh my God, is it all going downhill now?.... Well - anyhow: a few words about myself: blonde - but not silly - decent, but always ready for all kinds of jokes; I sing with a rough voice and play guitar without any talent, I’d describe it as even more worse... but - together with my second half (my sister Domi), it doesn’t sound too bad. Why? Nobody knows. Hobbies? Except four times a week doing sports - beside my studies at Bochum-University - there is only spare time left for - rehearsing - eating - sleeping. But who cares? I was the one who decided to do that.
Well, three years later than my sister I got on the same midwife’s nerves, and, in opposition to 'my oldie' (my sister) I really feel fit. My biggest ambition is singing: I use to sing after getting up in the morning; in the bath-room; during my corn-flakes-breakfast; on my way to high-school; on the school-toilet; I am singing on my way home; during my home-work and also while taking a shower. I even sing myself to sleep (laughing again). Okay - the truth: I don’t sing on the school-toilette (smiling again). Singing is my life, and together with my sister Pati I live a twin-life - with Pati and Karli it’s triple-life-fun.
Hi, that’s my name. I was born in 1952 and I am, when it comes to guitar-playing, a real 'late-starter'. Although always been fascinated by this instrument it was not before 1975 (until then I preferred to play - vinyl-records - d’you remember that?) before a friend of mine gave me an old guitar. I started strumming on it, learned the first chords, more or less self-taught, just for fun, alone at home. Musically, way back in the Sixties, I was mainly influenced by the 'Beatles', but also guitarists such as Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck and Ritchie Blackmore turned me on. Later my interests in guitar-music grew with listening to bands like 'The Shadows' and 'The Ventures'. Oh yeah, not to forget another group, 'The Spotnicks' from Sweden. In the mid-ninetees, crazy as I was (or still am), I started collecting guitars, had several sessions and jams with guitar-playing friends and, for two years, I joined a Christian-based band on guitar and bass. Playing guitar and rehearsing is still my biggest ambition: I use to play and rehearse on weekends and on bank-holidays, in the mornings after getting up (sometimes even in those spare minutes before I leave to go to work); in the evenings; sometimes also at nights and even in my office - during lunchbreaks (hope my boss don’t mind). And - oh yeah: the things Patrizia wrote about herself: as having 'rough voice', 'no talent on playing guitar' etc..... Forget it! She's my inspiration. Her sister too.
...for this formation emerged in December 2001, when I (Carlos), by
accident - I really mean by accident, - watched the girls sing and play and
I spontaneously offered to join in - or help out - especially since I, at
that time, only have had very few live gigs here and there. Jams and
rehearsals with the two girls followed. I can only describe it as strong.
Simply strong. Pure harmony.
Currently (June 2002) we're still rehearsing, having had our very own first
gig, choosing songs, arranging, writing own songs here and there. We
already think about recording an own CD...

... was meant to be simple and not complicated - just as we want our music to be. Simply:
